New works!

Finally, after the longest tasks (cleaning, sanding, anti-termite treatment, filling, and varnishing), we can move on to painting!

Yes, because the idea is to bring more light into our interiors and to have light-colored doors, as well as the existing window frames. Also because some of the doors are a bit damaged, and the surface needs to be covered to hide the flaws... even though we love the traces of wear...

They breathe history!

We chose the excellent "Fleur Chalky Look" products, particularly the matte taupe sophistication shade, which the label describes as: "Style with a capital S since the 1940s, the color taupe - especially in its more delicate variants like this one - represents the pursuit of a timeless style." We’re very satisfied with the result! Now, all that's left is to shabby it!!!

... and even for this weekend, we have to leave this wonderful place and return to Lombardy. It’s getting harder and harder to leave HOME.
