Exclusive experiences in our historic mill
Step into the heart of the former Mulino della Carpana: through a trapdoor, you’ll descend to the space where water once flowed, powering the mechanisms used to mill wheat and chestnuts into flour.
A bottle of still or sparkling white or red wine will be paired with a selection of small bites, to be enjoyed in an intimate and atmospheric setting.

WINE CELLAR APERITIF

Experience all the spaces surrounding our B&B through a guided walking tasting led by Stefano, an AIS-certified sommelier.
Five stops, each featuring a different wine paired with small tastings, will actively engage you with fun and hands-on challenges along the way.

Chiara will welcome you for a hands-on cooking class featuring three simple recipes from the local tradition: crocetti (fresh handmade pasta), the famous Bardigiana herb or cabbage pie, and the traditional dessert known as “latte in piedi.” The experience concludes with a refreshing aperitif followed by a private lunch or dinner, where you’ll enjoy the dishes you’ve prepared yourselves in an intimate and exclusive setting.

COOKING CLASS

Pause time and treat yourselves to a relaxing break, seated on the grass in our garden, while enjoying a board of traditional cured meats from the Piacenza and Parma areas, mountain Parmigiano Reggiano, and vegetable preserves and pickled vegetables produced by our own farm.
We’ll provide everything you need: cushions, a picnic basket with tablecloth, ceramic plates, metal cutlery, glassware, water, and a bottle of wine.

Exploring small villages and nature
VISIT BARDI
Chiara, a licensed tour guide and art historian, will lead you on a private visit to discover the village of Bardi and its imposing fortress.
From its medieval origins to the history of the Landi family, from castle legends to lesser-known stories passed down through local tradition, each stop is enriched with anecdotes and intriguing details,first and foremost the legend of the knight Moroello, the castle’s famous “thermal ghost.”

HIKING DAY
Stefano, a certified hiking guide, will lead you on an authentic experience through nature and breathtaking landscapes.
The adventure starts directly from the B&B: following the Ceno River, you’ll take the trail that climbs up the Val Noveglia.
Walking through dense woodland and along small streams, you’ll reach the summit, marked by the large sandstone slabs of Pizzo d’Oca, a natural balcony offering sweeping views over the Val Ceno.

PARMA CITY TOUR
Chiara, a licensed tour guide and art historian, will lead you on a full-day private tour of the beautiful city of Parma. Nicknamed “Little Paris” for its elegance and the French cultural influence inherited from Maria Luigia of Austria, Parma is also renowned for its deeply rooted religious heritage, embodied in its Cathedral, Baptistery, the Church of San Giovanni, and the Basilica of Santa Maria della Steccata.
After lunch, the tour will continue to the Palazzo Tarasconi for a guided visit to the exhibition “100 Years of Reflections. The Impressionists from Monet to Bonnard.”

THE VILLAGE OF VIGOLENO
Chiara or Stefano will accompany you on a discovery of the ancient village of Vigoleno, one of Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages. A small, perfectly preserved medieval gem, enclosed by defensive walls and set amid rolling hills and vineyards that enhance its timeless atmosphere. Together we will visit the Mastio (the main keep) and the Church of San Giorgio. The Church of San Giorgio, built in the Piacenza Romanesque style, is one of the highlights of the visit.
