A bit of despair is taking hold of me...
The estimates from companies are slow to arrive and the days pass without making any progress towards "our dream". However, a small step was taken a couple of weeks ago when, on the occasion of the Carnival in Borgotaro, we returned to the Emilian land.
A very efficient Enel came to temporarily disconnect an electricity wire that had gotten caught in some trees and two brave "woodcutters" Stefano and Paolo, prepared the work of "securing" the wooded area adjacent to the former mill, as well as "cleaning" the avenue. It was fascinating to see the speed and skill of my two favorite woodcutters in felling trunks of considerable size... and I thank them for the dedication on wood that I will carefully preserve.
Now all that's left to do is speed up the work, because I can't wait to see the first progress!
